O Governo Federal, em 16/07/2013 publicou a Portaria Interministerial MMA/MT n&ordm; 288/2013 que instituiu o PROFAS &ndash; Programa de Rodovias Federais Ambientalmente Sustent&aacute;veis com o objetivo de regularizar ambientalmente as rodovias federais pavimentadas que n&atilde;o possu&iacute;am licen&ccedil;a ambiental.</p>

As concession&aacute;rias, ainda n&atilde;o regularizadas, firmaram Termos de Compromisso com o Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renov&aacute;veis- IBAMA, com o fim de apresentar os Relat&oacute;rios de Controle Ambiental-RCAs, visando a obten&ccedil;&atilde;o da Licen&ccedil;a de Opera&ccedil;&atilde;o- LO.</p>

A ANTT administra 21 (vinte uma) concess&otilde;es de rodovias.&nbsp;Desse quantitativo,&nbsp;12 (doze) Concess&otilde;es&nbsp;j&aacute;&nbsp;possuem Licen&ccedil;a de Opera&ccedil;&atilde;o &ndash; LO e 9 (nove) Concess&otilde;es j&aacute; assinaram o Termo de Compromisso como parte do processo de regulariza&ccedil;&atilde;o ambiental,&nbsp;em atendimento &agrave;s determina&ccedil;&otilde;es da&nbsp;Portaria Interministerial MMA/MT n&ordm; 288/2013.</p>
